Memories are how Moonjar remembers things about you across conversations. Without them, every chat would start cold. With them, the assistant knows you take coffee black, your partner’s name is Sam, and you’re planning to move next August — without having to be told again.

Each chat can produce memories — Moonjar runs an extractor over every exchange and adds anything new it spots. You can also save memories by hand, or ask the chat to save one for you. They’re injected into the system prompt of every future chat as context, so the assistant can call on them without searching.
