Capture a photo
You can save any photo to Moonjar — a snap of a parking ticket, a whiteboard, a sign, anything. Moonjar reads the image, pulls out the text, and files the result like any other document.
Before you start

- The first photo capture asks for camera or photo-library permission. Grant it to continue.
From the Capture tab

- Tap Image in the mode selector.
- Choose:

From the share sheet

The share extension supports up to 10 images at a time.
What happens after
Section titled “What happens after”Moonjar uploads the image, reads any text in it, classifies the result into one of 15 document types, extracts the relevant fields, and files it under Documents. Photos are compressed before upload to keep transfers small.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Unsupported file type.” Moonjar accepts standard image formats (JPEG, PNG, HEIC). If you hit this error, the file may be a non-image or may have been corrupted; try a different photo.
