Organise your conversations
Once you’ve had a few dozen chats, the conversation list gets messy. Folders let you group related chats — work, travel, a specific project — and Moonjar can suggest the right folder for new chats so you don’t have to file them by hand.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Moonjar app installed and signed in.
- At least one conversation.
Create a folder
Section titled “Create a folder”- Open the Chat tab.
- Tap the folder icon in the conversation list header.
- Tap New folder.
- Name it.
Move a conversation into a folder
Section titled “Move a conversation into a folder”- Long-press a conversation in the chat list.
- Tap Move to folder.
- Pick the folder. The conversation appears under that folder.
Let the assistant pick
Section titled “Let the assistant pick”When you finish a chat, you can ask Moonjar to suggest a folder for it. The chat endpoint inspects the conversation, looks at your existing folder names, and proposes the closest match — or recommends a new folder if none fit.
What happens after
Section titled “What happens after”Folders are personal — only you see your folders, and they don’t appear to anyone you’ve shared a chat with. A conversation can be in one folder at a time, or sit unfiled.
Renaming a folder doesn’t move conversations out of it. Deleting a folder unfiles the conversations it contained — they aren’t deleted.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Folders are flat — no nesting.
- The folder suggestion is a chat tool. If a chat fails for some other reason (rate limit, no AI consent), the suggestion fails too.
